Sharpshooter was founded with a vision of not only improving people’s well-being but also transforming lives. It started with someone we’ll call John Smith.

John is a veteran from the Canadian armed forces who had served in Afghanistan for 2 years. Like many veterans, he came home with PTSD.

For more than 6 months after he came home, he was physically, emotionally and mentally unable to leave his house because of extreme anxiety.

Until Scott Hamilton, the founder of Sharpshooter, also a veteran and John’s friend, couldn’t bear to see John and his family suffer any more.

Scott invited John to try different extracts of CBD to combat the PTSD. John tried several different strengths until one day...

John burst open the door to Scott’s office with tears of joy rolling down his face. He had managed to leave the house for the first time in months. CBD had cured him!

He was free of his emotional prison.

He could function again.

He got his life back.

On that fateful day, December 31st, 2014, Scotty vowed to help others who were suffering like John. On that day, he submitted the paperwork that would form Sharpshooter Industries.

On January 1, 2015, Sharpshooter was born into the cannabis industry

EIS Crop Sense is leveraging unique knowledge of plant signaling to increase crop value and food health. Our system uses novel plant data capture, proprietary algorithms and machine learning for early detection of crop problems enabling Growers to reduce or prevent crop damage, increase crop value and reduce pesticide use. The company is currently in paid field trials with commercial greenhouses and nurseries in British Columbia and California.

SunPillar Inc. designs and builds electronic devices, software applications and algorithms to monitor and alert growers and bee keepers to issues in agriculture such as honey bee hive health or wine grape vineyard disease issues.

Consisting of college academics and students from various GTA colleges and university, SunPillar has developed a Hive Health solution among other products. Revenue is hardware lease and data subscription based.

SunPillar Inc. consists of stakeholders with horticultural, electronic, mechanical and software engineering skills. This employee owned company manufactures and develops sensor based applications targeted at the agriculture community. Additional sensor components and software applications have been developed for related industrial applications because the core design or software components fit with SunPillar’s main focus. SunPillar continues to grow our sensor based product line and lists such items on a number of crowd funding sites.
