The North Bay Angels (NBA) is the oldest and largest angel investment group north of the Golden Gate. We are an active investor group who invests primarily in early stage equity and venture debt, where our participation will have an impact on the success of the company. We also consider current return opportunities.

Golden Seeds is an investment firm dedicated to achieving above market returns for investors through the empowerment of women entrepreneurs. Golden Seeds has four primary operations fulfilling its purpose: An Angel Forum consisting of over 230 men and women investors (the fourth largest in the US), a growing family of Venture Capital funds, an educational Academy, and a Private Equity business.

We look for technology-based companies (software, data/analytics, medical devices, bio-tech, life sciences, photonics, ag-tech, clean-tech, and energy) in Montana, Northern Rockies, and the Northwest region at the “Seed” and “A” stages. We're a bit flexible on geography and will occasionally do a"Pre-Seed" or a "B" round, but we're pretty disciplined about sticking to our preferred tech sectors.
Our preference is to find companies with unique and defensible intellectual property; a tech-leveraged business model; a core of strong management; and evidence of market demand for their product/solution. However, we're comfortable with early-stage risks and like to hear from companies with some particular strengths, even if they're missing one or two of the elements above.

NCN is a partnership of more than 100 professional investors, most of whom have been founders and executives of highly successful companies. NCN leverages the experience and expertise of the individuals within its partnership to identify, develop, and support promising, high-growth companies. NCN manages several investment funds including NCN Angel Fund I, NCN Angel Fund II, Tennessee Angel Fund, and NCN Partners Fund.
